A combined globally mapped carbon dioxide (CO2) flux estimate based on the Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas Database (SOCAT) and Southern Ocean Carbon and Climate Observations and Modeling (SOCCOM) biogeochemistry floats from 1982 to 2017 (NCEI Accession 0191304)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This dataset contains a combined globally mapped estimate of the air-sea exchange of carbon dioxide (CO2) based on Surface Ocean CO2 Atlas Database (SOCAT) partial pressure of CO2 (pCO2) and calculated pCO2 from Southern Ocean Carbon and Climate Observations and Modeling (SOCCOM) biogeochemistry floats from 1982 to 2017. The pCO2 fields were created using a 2-step neural network technique. In a first step, the global ocean is divided into 16 biogeochemical provinces using a self-organizing map.

Coral Ecosystem Connectivity from Pulley Ridge to the Florida Keys: Modeled 3D Connectivity Matrices from Pulley Ridge to the Florida Keys for Coral and Fish Species (NCEI Accession 0191355)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Three-dimensional (3D) connectivity matrices between Pulley Ridge and the Florida Keys using the Connectivity Modeling System (CMS) for bicolor damselfish (Stegastes partitus), red lionfish (Pterois volitans), great star coral (Montastraea cavernosa), mustard hill coral (Porites astreoides), and red grouper (Epinephelus morio). For all species, the probability of connectivity between reefs from 2012-2014 is modeled; for S. partitus, daily probability of export from 2004-2008 is also provided.
