NCCOS Assessment: Quantification of Sediment Contaminants Before and After Port Everglades, Florida Dredging 2020-11-15 to 2021-03-16 (NCEI Accession 0282807)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset represents a two time sediment sampling effort, occurring before and after the dredging project at Port Everglades. Samples were taken before dredging (sampling on 11.15.20) and after dredging (sampling on 3.16.21). A suite of organic and inorganic parameters were quantified at 18 targeted sites on coral reefs near the port. Contaminants quantified included: polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and trace elements (including heavy metals). Sediment grain size was also quantified.

Oceanographic and biological water parameter data collected from the M45X mooring in Lake Michigan, Great Lakes region to support the long-term ecological research Muskegon transect studies by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory from 2014-05-05 to 2020-08-12 (NCEI Accession 0282935)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Two moorings were deployed near the M45 station by the NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) from 2014 through 2020. These observations support the GLERL Long-Term Ecological Research program. The M45 station is part of the Muskegon Transect in Lake Michigan near the NOAA Lake Michigan Field Station, Muskegon, MI. The first mooring, “M45”, is an oceanographic mooring containing a temperature string. The second mooring, “M45X” mooring is a physical and biological mooring that collects temperature and fluorometer measurements over the winter.

Oceanographic and biological water parameter data collected from the M110 and M110X moorings in Lake Michigan, Great Lakes region to support the long-term ecological research Muskegon transect studies by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory from 2014-05-05 to 2020-08-12 (NCEI Accession 0282942)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Two moorings were deployed near the M110 station by the NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) from 2014 through 2020. These observations support the GLERL Long-Term Ecological Research program. The M110 station is part of the Muskegon Transect in Lake Michigan near the NOAA Lake Michigan Field Station, Muskegon, MI. The first mooring, “M110”, is an oceanographic mooring containing a temperature string and an acoustic doppler current profiler approximately 200 meters from the temperature string.

Trajectory profile data from glider maracoos_02, including pH, Total Alkalinity, and Aragonite Saturation State, deployed by Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in the Mid-Atlantic Bight from 2022-04-20 to 2022-05-18 (NCEI Accession 0282953)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains the trajectory profile data from glider maracoos_02 from one seasonal deployment (2022-04-20 to 2022-05-18) to investigate carbonate chemistry and monitor ocean acidification seasonally in the Mid-Atlantic Bight. The glider used for the automated observation includes an integrated deep rated version of the Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor (ISFET)-based pH sensor.

Biological oxygen saturation (Δ(O2/Ar)) data collected from surface underway observations using EIMS during the NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown GOMECC2021 project cruise in the Gulf of Mexico from 2021-09-14 to 2021-10-20 (NCEI Accession 0282979)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains the surface underway biological oxygen saturation data of the third dedicated East Coast Ocean Acidification cruise (GOMECC2021). The cruise took place September from 2021-09-14 to 2021-10-20 aboard the NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the Gulf of Mexico. The cruise was designed to obtain a synoptic snapshot of key carbon, physical, and biogeochemical parameters as they relate to ocean acidification (OA) in the coastal realm. This effort was conducted in support of the coastal monitoring and research objectives of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP).

ChukSA Climatology, Version 1.0: Ocean velocity profiles collected by ADCP in the Chukchi Sea, Bering Strait, and Bering Sea in 2002-2022 (NCEI Accession 0283043)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The ChukSA climatology is comprised of shipboard acoustic Doppler current profiler (SADCP) ocean velocity datasets collected by research vessels while working in, or transiting through, the Chukchi Sea region. SADCP datasets included in the climatology have received high- level post-processing, including manual editing and removal of estimated barotropic tides, and have been combined into a unique dataset of direct ocean velocity measurements. As of early 2023, ChukSA includes 95 datasets from 57 cruises by six ships spanning 16 years since 2002.

NCCOS Assessment: Stony coral tissue loss disease (SCTLD) investigations into diagnostics and treatments: functional proteomics in Key West from 2019-07-01 to 2019-09-30 and the Florida Coast from 2021-05-01 to 2022-03-30 (NCEI Accession 0283064)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data package contains three datasets associated with this project. Metagenomic and proteomic datasets were prepared from nine different species of coral with and without Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD) which were collected from various reefs near Key West, Florida (2019). The third dataset consists of proteomic data prepared from Orbicella faveolata from two regions off the Florida Coast (Ecosystem Conservation Area (ECA) and Lower Keys) as well as across two different time periods (Spring 2021 and Winter 2022).
