Meteorological data collected from Whiskey Lake, Southcentral Alaska, from 2018-05-25 to 2020-08-26 (NCEI Accession 0233132)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Environmental data including: precipitation, air, and water temperatures were collected from a fisheries field crew at Whiskey Lake in Southcentral Alaska during each summer from 2018-2020. Air temperatures were collected from a shady site on Bourbon Mist Island using a thermometer and surface water temperatures were taken in the shallows on the east side of the island also via thermometer. All temperatures were recorded in degrees Celsius at 5:00 pm each day.

Dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, nutrients, and other variables collected from surface discrete observations using Niskin bottle and other instruments during the R/V F. G. Walton Smith cruise WS18120 (EXPOCODE 33WA20180430) in the west coast of Florida, Gulf of Mexico from 2018-04-30 to 2018-05-03 (NCEI Accession 0188878)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains the surface discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale and nutrients during the R/V F. G. Walton Smith cruise WS18120 (EXPOCODE 33WA20180430) in the west coast of Florida, Gulf of Mexico from 2018-04-30 to 2018-05-03. Increasing amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide from human industrial activities are causing changes in global ocean carbon chemistry resulting in a reduction in pH, a process termed ocean acidification.

Sea Ice Pressure Ridge Sail Height, Arctic, 2010-2018 (NCEI Accession 0202018)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
The Sail height data is derived from high-resolution Digital Mapping System imagery acquired in the late winter months of March, April, and May during NASA's annual Operation IceBridge airborne campaigns in the Arctic. Pressure-ridge sail-height is defined as the height of the ridge sail above the sea ice surface. Statistics describing pressure ridge sails are extracted per image. Arithmetic averages are computed for 25 km along-track segments for each aircraft flight line, in the absence of clouds, polar darkness and sea ice leads.
