Oceanographic and surface meteorological water parameter data collected from moored Realtime Coastal Observation Network, ReCON, Muskegon M45 Buoy, Lake Michigan, in the Great Lakes region by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory from 2020-07-30 to 2020-10-26 (NCEI Accession 0243994)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory collected the data from moored Realtime Coastal Observation Network, ReCON, Muskegon M45 Buoy, Lake Michigan, an in-situ moored station, in the Great Lakes. Observations have been collected at this location since 2016, this record contains the 2020 observations. Note, the short deployment of this buoy in 2020 is due to COVID-19 and a reduced field work season.

Adelie penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae) telemetry collected by Argos satellites in the Southern Ocean for the U.S. Antarctic Marine Living Resources project from 1996-10-29 to 2013-02-19 (NCEI Accession 0244399)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The dataset contains geographic location estimates of Adelie penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae) tracked via Argos satellite telemetry in the Southern Ocean for the U.S. Antarctic Marine Living Resources project from 1996-10-29 to 2013-02-19. Birds were instrumented with back-mounted Argos satellite transmitters at the Copacabana Colony (62.21S, 58.42W) on King George Island during the austral summer breeding seasons (October - February) from 1996 to 2013. Typical deployments during the breeding season lasted 5 to 8 days, while some winter deployments lasted several months.

Reef fish Stationary Point Count (SPC) survey data collected by the Guam Long-term Coral Reef Monitoring Program from 2010-08-04 to 2024-11-19 (NCEI Accession 0244405)

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The data in this package include fish abundance, length, biomass, and presence/absence data collected at High Priority Reef Areas (HPRA) by Guam Long-term Coral Reef Monitoring Program (GLTMP) biologists. The monitoring team uses a Stationary Point Count Method, adapted from Ault et al. (2006) and NOAA Fisheries, Coral Reef Ecosystem Division (Williams et al., 2011), to conduct the reef fish surveys.
