2005 Oahu/Maui Lidar Mapping Project

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

LIDAR data is remotely sensed high-resolution elevation data collected by an airborne collection platform. Using a
combination of laser rangefinding, GPS positioning and inertial measurement technologies; LIDAR instruments are able to make
highly detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) of the earth's terrain, man-made structures and vegetation. This data was
collected over a portion of Maui and Oahu, Hawaii with a Leica ALS-40 Aerial Lidar Sensor. Multiple returns were recorded for
each pulse in addition to an intensity value.

2013 NOAA Oahu Topographic Lidar

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The Oahu, Hawaii Elevation Data Task Order involves collecting and delivering topographic elevation point data derived from multiple return light detection and ranging (LiDAR) measurements on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Statement of Work (SOW) for the area covering the northern 2/3 of Oahu was developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management.

2003 Oahu Coastline Lidar

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

LIDAR data is remotely sensed high-resolution elevation data collected by an airborne collection platform. Using a
combination of laser rangefinding, GPS positioning and inertial measurement technologies; LIDAR instruments are able to make
highly detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) of the earth's terrain, man-made structures and vegetation. This data was collected
over a 100 meter swath of the Oahu, Hawaii coastline with a Leica ALS-40 Aerial Lidar Sensor. Multiple returns were recorded for each
pulse in addition to an intensity value.

2004 Maine Coastline LiDAR

Data provided by  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

This metadata document describes the collection and processing of Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) data over an area
along the coast of Maine. Data was collected at a nominal two (2) meter post spacing between points. Two elevation data sets
were compiled in this project, first surface returns, in which features that are above the ground, such as buildings, bridges,
tree tops, etc. have not been eliminated and a Bare Earth Data set.
