2017 NOAA/OCM Unmanned Aerial System Lidar DEM: Grand Bay NERR
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Quantum Spatial (QSI) and PrecisionHawk (PH) collected lidar for test sites within the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) using an unmanned aerial system (UAS). Four sites were flown, covering a total of 177 acres. A fixed-wing PH Lancaster (revision 5) platform was used, carrying a Velodyne Puck VLP-16 based lidar system. The system provides 2 returns (strongest and last) with a pulse rate of 300 kHz using a 903 nm wavelength laser. Flights were conducted from May 9-11, 2017 and were flown at 50 meters above ground level.

2004 Florida Greenway ADS40 Orthoimagery and Digital Elevation Model
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
EarthData International collected ADS-40/ISTAR-derived orthophotos at a 50 centimeter pixel resolution to produce natural color and color infrared ortho photo tiles. The period of aerial collection was 14 DEC 2004 to 15 DEC 2004 with a reflight of several lines conducted on 1 FEB 2006. During the time of image acquisition two dual frequency GPS receivers were utilized. One receiver was operated on board the aircraft with the dual frequency antenna located directly over the camera.

NOAA Office for Coastal Management Coastal Inundation Digital Elevation Model: Aggregate Record
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This digital elevation model (DEM) is a part of a series of DEMs produced for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Office for Coastal Management's Sea Level Rise and Coastal Flooding Impacts Viewer. The DEMs created for this project were developed using the NOAA National Weather Service's Weather Forecast Office (WFO) boundaries. This metadata record describes the aggregate DEM and WFO specific metadata exists for each WFO. The DEM includes the best available lidar data known to exist at the time of DEM creation for each WFO.

2016 NOAA NGS Topobathy Lidar DEM: Key West (FL)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
These data were collected by the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration National Geodetic Survey Remote Sensing Division using a Riegl VQ820G system. The data were acquired from 20160419 - 20160425. The data includes topobathy data in an LAS 1.2 format file classified as 1 - unclassified, 2 - ground, 7 - topo noise, 26 - bathymetric bottom or submerged topography, 27 - water surface, 28 - submerged object and 30 - International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-57 objects. A digital elevation model was then derived from the lidar points.

2015 NOAA Lidar: Pelekane Watershed (HI)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This metadata describes the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) 1 meter products derived from the airborne LiDAR data collected in August of 2015 for the Pelekane Watershed on the big island of Hawaii. The point cloud dataset was acquired with an Optech Orion M300 Airborne LiDAR Terrain Mapper with a nominal point spacing of 0.33 m. The DEM for this delivery was made from airborne LiDAR in LP360. A triangulated irregular network (TIN) was generated based on the LiDAR ground information (Using the tenderloin part of the point cloud only), and was later converted in a 1-meter raster file (DEM).

2005 Hawaii IfSAR Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Intermap DEMs populate its data store. The DEM products are generated using Intermap's STAR technology (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar). The system is mounted in an aircraft. The Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data product was derived from the Digital Surface Model (DSM) using Intermap's proprietary algorithm. The DTM data for 7.5-minute by 7.5-minute units correspond to the USGS 1:24,000 scale topographic quadrangle map series for areas in the United States and throughout the world. Each tile provides full coverage with overlap into adjacent tiles.
