Maryland ESI: REPTILES (Reptile and Amphibian Polygons)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set contains sensitive biological resource data for sea turtles, estuarine turtles, and rare reptiles and amphibians in Maryland. Vector polygons in this data set represent turtle and other rare reptile/amphibian distribution and nesting areas. Species-specific abundance, seasonality, status, life history, and source information are stored in relational data tables (described below) designed to be used in conjunction with this spatial data layer. This data set comprises a portion of the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data for Maryland.

Sensitivity of Coastal Environments and Wildlife to Spilled Oil: Mississippi: HYDRO (Hydrography Lines and Polygons)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set contains vector lines and polygons representing coastal hydrography used in the creation of the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) for Mississippi. The Hydro data layer contains all annotation used in producing the atlas. The annotation features are categorized into three subclasses in order to simplify the mapping and quality control procedures: GEOG for geographic features, SOC for socioeconomic features, and HYDRO for water features. This data set comprises a portion of the ESI data for Mississippi.
