Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This global Level-1B (L1B) Sensor Data Record (SDR) from the Ozone Mapping and Profiling Suite (OMPS) provides calibrated and geolocated radiance and reflectance data produced from OMPS Raw Data Records (RDR). The data are derived from ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared observations (between 300-380 nm) detected by the OMPS Nadir Total Column Mapper at a spatial resolution of 50 km at nadir.

NOAA JPSS Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite (OMPS) Nadir Profile Sensor Data Record (SDR) from IDPS
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This global Level-1B (L1B) Sensor Data Record (SDR) from the Ozone Mapping and Profiling Suite (OMPS) provides calibrated and geolocated radiances produced from OMPS Raw Data Records (RDR). The data are derived from backscattered UV radiation (between 250-310 nm) detected by the OMPS Nadir Profiler (NP) at a spatial resolution of 250 km at nadir.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Land Surface Temperature Environmental Data Record (EDR) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality operational Environmental Data Record (EDR) that contains land surface temperature (LST) measurements. The algorithm utilizes sensor data from the 10.763 and 12.013 micron spectral bands (VIIRS channels M13 and M15) using a split window technique that corrects for atmospheric absorption and applied surface emissivity explicitly in the retrieval. VIIRS infrared bands have a spatial resolution of 750 meters at nadir. S-NPP and NOAA-20 provide at least 90% global coverage every 12 hours.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Land Surface Albedo Environmental Data Record (EDR) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality Environmental Data Record of land surface albedo from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21. The EDR contains a gap-filled and noise reduced product of daily mean surface albedo and uses inputs from seven VIIRS bands (M1, M4, M5, M7, M8, M10, and M11.) Additionally, the product contains data quality flags and product quality information. The EDR provides global daily coverage for daytime pixels at a spatial resolution of 750 meters at nadir.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Cloud Mask Environmental Data Record (EDR) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set provides a cloud mask Environmental Data Record (EDR) produced from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument oboard Suomi NPP, NOAA-20,and NOAA-21.The EDR contains an image in the form of a binary cloud mask that identifies pixels within a coverage region as clear or cloudy. The production of the clear sky mask is an important step in the processing of many other VIIRS products that use the information generated in the production of the clear sky mask to determine the presence of clouds.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Snow Cover Environmental Data Record (EDR) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality operational Environmental Data Record (EDR) of snow cover from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21. This product provides both binary (snow or no-snow) and fractional snow cover for cloud-free areas during daytime. The algorithm utilizes VIIRS visible bands I1 (0.640 micron), I2 (0.865 micron), I3 (1.61 micron), I4 (3.74 micron), and I5 (11.5 micron) at a spatial resolution of 375 meters.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Daytime Cloud Optical and Microphysical Properties (DCOMP) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This Environmental Data Record (EDR) provides daytime cloud optical and microphysical properties (DCOMP) from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21.The EDR includes Cloud Optical Depth (COD), Cloud effective Particle Size (CPS), and Liquid and Ice Water Path. COD and CPS are retrieved simultaneously from visible and near-infrared observations. COD data is primarily retrieved from the conservative scattering channel at about 0.6 micrometer.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Ice Thickness and Age Environmental Data Records (EDRs) from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This dataset contains a high quality operational Environmental Data Record (EDR) of Ice Thickness and Age from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21. This daily product provides estimates of sea and lake ice thickness and age for all pixels covered with ice. The current ice thickness and age design has the ability to estimate sea and lake ice thickness up to 3 meters under both clear and cloudy conditions at night. The algorithm also works during daytime though estimates are more uncertain.

NOAA JPSS Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Surface Reflectance from NDE
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This data set contains a high quality Environmental Data Record (EDR) of surface reflectance (SR) from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21. satellite. This EDR contains estimates of the surface reflectance for each VIIRS spectral band as it would have been measured at ground level as if there were no atmospheric scattering or absorption. It corrects for the effects of atmospheric gases, aerosols, and thin cirrus clouds. The VIIRS SR product is of direct heritage from the MODIS sensor onboard the AQUA and TERRA satellites.
