NRDA-processed CTD data from the JACK FITZ in the Gulf of Mexico, Cruise 1 Leg 1, collected from 2010-05-10 to 2010-05-13, associated with the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill event (NCEI Accession 0128137)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Conductivity Temperature and Depth (CTD) measurements were collected aboard R/V Jack Fitz, Cruise 01, to determine physical oceanographic parameters of the water column, and in some cases used to help guide sample collection as part of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill sampling effort. Temperature, conductivity/salinity, depth, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and fluorometry data were collected onboard the Jack Fitz Cruise 01. The final product is a series of NetCDF files containing every CTD cast that has been processed and quality checked.

Physical, chemical, and biological CTD and bottle data from NATHANIEL B. PALMER in eastern tropical South Pacific Ocean near Peru/Chile from 2013-06-24 to 2013-07-22 (NCEI Accession 0128141)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
This report contains data from R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer cruise NBP 1305 to the eastern tropical south pacific oxygen deficient zone. The objective of the cruise was to study denitrification and anammox processes. The cruise took place between June and July in 2013 in an area bounded by 23S-10S and 87W-70W. Two data sets are included. The first is the 1-meter binned CTD data while the second is the bottle cast data and contains nutrient values for nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium. The data were collected as part of NSF grant number OCE-1029316 to Allan Devol.

Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Temperature, Salinity, and others collected via time series logging probe at Tatoosh Island, Washington from June 4, 2000 to August 23, 2010 (NCEI Accession 0099812)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
To understand how ocean conditions influence population and ecological community dynamics of rocky shore habitats, we initiated measurements of key physical/chemical parameters at Tatoosh Island, Washington, in June 2000, including water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and salinity/conductivity. Measures were made with a Hydrolab DS4a/DS5x logging probe at half hour intervals during spring-late summer in each year. Submitted data were collected through August 2010.

CTD, pH and oxygen data from Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii 2004-2009 on R/V Kaholo in support of carbon cycle research (NCEI Accession 0099831)
Data provided by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Coastal oceans are most likely to be impacted by anthropogenic activities because they are typically shallow and have more restricted water circulation than the open ocean. Kaneohe Bay served as a test site to gain insight into aspects of the carbon cycle. It is a semi-enclosed bay located on the eastern side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii and is the largest sheltered body of water in the islands. Thirteen profile stations were established and nine cruises were conducted during 2004-2009 on the R/V Kaholo.
