NIST ITS-90 Thermocouple Database - SRD 60

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This database reproduces a subset of the tables and reference functions of NIST Monograph 175, 'Temperature Electromotive Force Reference Functions and Tables for the Letter-Designated Thermocouple Types Based on the ITS-90'. All temperatures used by this database are given on the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90), and all emf values are given in units of the 1990 SI volt. Reference functions and tables are given for the eight letter-designated thermocouple types: noble-metal types B, R, and S; and base-metal types E, J, K, N, and T.

NDRL/NIST Solution Kinetics Database - SRD 40

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The NDRL/NIST Solution Kinetics Database contains data on rate constants for solution-phase chemical reactions. The database is designed to be searched by reactants, products, solvents, or any combination of these. In addition, the bibliography may be searched by author name, title words, journal, page(s), and/or year. This is not the same database as the one at Notre Dame, although both databases share a common data source.

NIST Bibliography of Photon Total Cross Section (Attenuation Coefficient) Measurements

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

A bibliography is presented of papers reporting absolute measurements of photon (XUV, x-ray, gamma-ray, bremsstrahlung) total interaction cross sections or attenuation coefficients for the elements and some compounds. The energy range covered is from 10 eV to above 10 GeV. These papers are part of the reference collection of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Photon and Charged Particle Data Center. They cover the period from 1907 through 1995. Included with each reference are annotations specifying the energy range covered and the substances studied.

NIST Ultraviolet Spectrum of Platinum Lamp - SRD 112

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The Atlas provides lists of spectral lines with wavelengths, intensities, and energy level classifications, as well as graphical tracings of the observed spectrum of a platinum hollow-cathode lamp containing neon carrier gas. The spectrum was recorded photographically and photoelectrically with a 10.7 m normal-incidence vacuum spectrograph. Wavelengths and intensities were determined for about 5600 lines in the region 1130 Å to 4330 Å.

NIST Triatomic Spectral Database - SRD 117

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This data base contains the rotational spectral lines observed and reported in the open literature for 55 triatomic molecules through June 1976. The isotopic molecular species, assigned quantum numbers, observed frequency, estimated measurement uncertainty and reference are given for each transition reported. In addition to correcting a number of misprints and errors in the literature cited, the spectral lines for approximately 15 molecules have been refit to produce a comprehensive and consistent analysis of all the data extracted from various literature sources.

NIST Statistical Reference Datasets - SRD 140

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The purpose of this project is to improve the accuracy of statistical software by providing reference datasets with certified computational results that enable the objective evaluation of statistical software. Currently datasets and certified values are provided for assessing the accuracy of software for univariate statistics, linear regression, nonlinear regression, and analysis of variance. The collection includes both generated and 'real-world' data of varying levels of difficulty. Generated datasets are designed to challenge specific computations.

NIST Thermodynamics of Enzyme-Catalyzed Reactions Database - SRD 74

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The following information is given for each entry in this database: the reference for the data; the reaction studied; the name of the enzyme used and its Enzyme Commission number; the method of measurement; the conditions of measurement (temperature, pH, ionic strength, and the buffer(s) and cofactor(s) used); the data and an evaluation of it; and, sometimes, commentary on the data and on any corrections which have been applied to it. The absence of a piece of information indicates that it was not found in the paper cited.

NIST SRD 46. Critically Selected Stability Constants of Metal Complexes: Version 8.0 for Windows

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This version of NIST Standard Reference Database 46 is a major enhancement to this widely used database which provides comprehensive coverage of interactions for aqueous systems of organic and inorganic ligands with protons and various metal ions and is based on the six-volume Critical Stability Constants by Martell and Smith. The new version contains 225 additional ligands, new data, data printing, rapid bibliography searching and more streamlined commands. New literature has resulted in revision and upgrading of 30% of previous data.

NIST Hydrocarbon Spectral Database - SRD 115

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This database contains the rotational spectral lines observed and reported in the open literature for 91 hydrocarbon molecules through September 1987. The isotopic molecular species, assigned quantum numbers, observed frequency, estimated measurement uncertainty and reference are given for each transition reported. In addition to correcting a number of misprints and errors in the literature cited, the spectral lines for many normal isotopic species have been refit to produce a comprehensive and consistent analysis of all the data extracted from various literature sources.
