This report describes the test equipment, process, analysis, and data file formats for the Numisheet 2020 tensile and tension/compression testing of the four materials associated with the Numisheet 2020 conference benchmarks. The four materials include two steel alloys, DP980 for Benchmark 1 and DP1180 for Benchmark 2, and two 6000 series aluminum alloys, AA6xxx-T4 for Benchmark 1 and AA6xxx-T81 for Benchmark 2, that will be referred to here as BM1-DP980, BM2-DP1180, BM1-6xxx-T4, and BM2-6xxx-T81, respectively.

Enforcement and Compliance's Global Steel Trade Monitor provides global import and export trends for the top countries trading in steel mill products.To supplement ITA's core trade statistics in the Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis (SIMA) system, quarterly country reports for the top 20 steel importing and top 20 steel exporting countries will be published.Each country report includes export and import trends by country and aggregate product, production and consumption data, and where available, information about trade remedy actions taken on steel products.

The Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis (SIMA) System, under the Department of Commerce, collects and publishes data of steel mill product imports. By design this information provides stakeholders and public valuable information on steel trade with the United States.

The ‘Import Monitor’ aggregates detailed license information and makes it available for public analysis on a weekly basis. All imported steel products under the U.S. Bureau of the Census (Census) definition of steel mill products are required to have an import license effective June 9, 20051. The data from the licensing system are used in conjunction with similar Census data to put together the ‘Import Monitor’. This Monitor helps alert users to changes in import patterns.

This database provides access and search capability for NIST critically evaluated data on atomic energy levels, wavelengths, and transition probabilities that are reasonably up-to-date. The Atomic Spectroscopy Data Center has carried out these critical compilations. The Data Center is located in the Physical Measurement Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Standard Reference Material 131h Refined Cast Iron - This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended primarily for use in validation of chemical and instrumental methods of analysis. It can be used to validate value assignment of in-house reference materials and, if necessary, to calibrate carbon/sulfur analyzers. A unit of SRM 131h consists of a bottle containing 100 g of chips. This data is public in the Certificate of Analysis for this material.

Standard Reference Material 2718a Green Petroleum Coke - This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended primarily for use in the calibration of apparatus and the evaluation of techniques used in the analysis of green (raw) petroleum coke and other materials of a similar matrix. It can be used to validate value assignment of in-house reference materials. A unit of SRM 2718a consists of 50 g of green petroleum coke ground to pass a 250 µm (60 mesh) sieve, homogenized, packaged in an amber glass bottle under an argon atmosphere, and then sealed in an aluminized bag.

This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is in the form of chips sized between 0.50 and 1.18 mm sieve openings (35 and 16 mesh). It is intended for use primarily in chemical methods of analysis. Similar material for use in spectrometric methods of analysis is available as SRM 1297. This data is public in the Certificate of Analysis for this material.
