Dynamic compressive stress-strain curves of aluminum alloy 6061-T6 with rapid heating

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This dataset contains raw mechanical data (strain, stress and strain rate curvesand initial temperatures) for compression experiments performed on aluminum alloy 6061-T6using the NIST pulse-heated Kolsky Bar at strain rates between 2400 1/s and 2700 1/s and initialtemperatures from 23 °C to 527 °C and heating times ranging between 0.2 s and 3.5 s. At this time, the thermal history of the specimen during heating is not included in the dataset but this informationmay be included in a future update.

Enhanced Global Steel Trade Monitor

Data provided by  International Trade Administration

Enforcement and Compliance's Global Steel Trade Monitor provides global import and export trends for the top countries trading in steel mill products. To supplement ITA's core trade statistics in the Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis (SIMA) system, quarterly country reports for the top 20 steel importing and top 20 steel exporting countries will be published. Each country report includes export and import trends by country and aggregate product, production and consumption data, and where available, information about trade remedy actions taken on steel products.

U.S. Steel Import Monitor

Data provided by  International Trade Administration

The ‘Import Monitor’ aggregates detailed license information and makes it available for public analysis on a weekly basis. All imported steel products under the U.S. Bureau of the Census (Census) definition of steel mill products are required to have an import license effective June 9, 20051. The data from the licensing system are used in conjunction with similar Census data to put together the ‘Import Monitor’. This Monitor helps alert users to changes in import patterns.

NIST Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD)

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Materials discovery and development necessarily begins with the preparation and identification of product phase(s). Crystalline compounds can be identified by their characteristic diffraction patterns using X-rays, neutrons, and or electrons. An estimated 20,000 X-ray diffractometers and a comparable number of electron microscopes are used daily in materials research and development laboratories for this purpose.

Data for Numisheet 2020 uniaxial tensile and tension/compression tests

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This report describes the test equipment, process, analysis, and data file formats for the Numisheet 2020 tensile and tension/compression testing of the four materials associated with the Numisheet 2020 conference benchmarks. The four materials include two steel alloys, DP980 for Benchmark 1 and DP1180 for Benchmark 2, and two 6000 series aluminum alloys, AA6xxx-T4 for Benchmark 1 and AA6xxx-T81 for Benchmark 2, that will be referred to here as BM1-DP980, BM2-DP1180, BM1-6xxx-T4, and BM2-6xxx-T81, respectively.

SRM 3104a Barium (Ba) Standard Solution Lot No. 140909

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended for use as a primary calibration standard for the quantitative determination of barium. A unit of SRM 3104a consists of five 10 mL sealed borosilicate glass ampoules of an acidified aqueous solution prepared gravimetrically to contain a known mass fraction of barium. The solution contains nitric acid at a volume fraction of approximately 1 %, which is equivalent to a concentration (molarity) of approximately 0.16 mol/L. This data is public in the Certificate of Analysis for this material.
