Soil salinity data from Bayou Dupont and flanking marshes, New Orleans, LA, 2015-09-16 to 2016-03-30 (NCEI Accession 0151633)

The project restored both structural and habitat functions of Bayou Dupont and flanking marshes. The project created and nourished marsh and restored a ridge on the west bank of Bayou Dupont. The entire ridge will be planted with appropriate woody vegetation. Soil samples to be taken every 6 months over a 2- to 3-year period due to concerns about high salinities of the ridge soils affecting survivability of the planted woody vegetation.

These data are laboratory analyses reports from collected samples of soil elements and salts as ppm in .PDF format with an included location table in .csv format.
