SOUND VELOCITY and Other Data from BARRY from 1993-08-01 to 1994-08-31 (NCEI Accession 9400153)

The sound velocity data in this accession were collected from ship BARRY between August 1, 1993 and August 31, 1994 by US Navy. The sound velocity in water analog profiles data that were recorded in stripcharts. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These were radioed every two hours to a US Navy facility. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time/date/ship id/latitude/longitude annotated on the strip chart. Ninety stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC by the US Navy, San Diego, CA.

These profile strip charts have not yet been digitized. The analog charts may be reviewed by special arrangement with NODC.
