The data was collected from TOGA (Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere) Area in the Pacific (30 N to 30 S) from July 26, 1990 to November 15, 1990. The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was submitted in a diskette by Mr. Paul Stevens of Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center, Monterey, CA. The data has been converted and is now available on line in C116 file format of NODC.",
