NIST/NIJ Characterized Authentic Drug Sample (CADS) Project - Raw & Processed Data
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
Development and validation of new analytical or data tools for seized drug analysis require demonstration of the approach's ability to accurately detect the components of complex, realistic drug mixtures. However, gaining access to these types of samples, or the data from these types of samples, can be difficult.

Observations of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and carbon monoxide (CO) mole fractions from the NIST Northeast Corridor urban testbed
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
March 2025 Update. Here we provide hourly observations of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and (for a few sites) carbon monoxide (CO) from tower-based sites in the NIST Northeast Corridor network. Each *.tgz (tar/gzip) archive contains data files for a given site location, named by its 3-letter code. To extract on a unix platform, use "tar -xvzf <filename>".

Trojan Detection Software Challenge - Leftovers
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
This collection of AI models consists of the trained yet unreleased models constructed for the TrojAI program. These models were not required for the published round they come from for some reason. Some were simply extras, others did not meet the release criteria for accuracy or trojan attack success rate, or other reasons. These models should not be considered high quality. They might be poorly trained and unfit for their stated purpose. Examine the metadata released with each model to determine whether you can leverage it.

A mathematical framework to correct for compositionality in microbiome datasets
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
This repository provides the raw data and analysis code used to demonstrate the implementation of a mathematical framework that uses internal standards to correct for compositionally in MGS datasets. Some of the data contained herein was previously published and is reanalyzed in the context of this new framework, while other datasets represent newly analyzed samples. Please refer to the associated publication for further discussion and a full exploration of the results.

A Fully Registered In-Situ and Ex-Situ Dataset for Metal Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacturing: Data Processing, Feature Extraction, Registration, and Uncertainties
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
This document details the data registration process for the previously published datasets from Additive Manufacturing Metrology Testbed (AMMT) parts, "Overhang Part X4," generated at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The two datasets —one for process monitoring and the other for XCT inspection—covering four overhang parts, along with their descriptions were published in 2020. The published data have been well-received by the community, advancing the understanding of laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing (AM).

Biospheric CO2 surface flux estimates from the Vegetation Photosynthesis & Respiration Model (VPRM) in the eastern USA and Canada: November 2016 to December 2021
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
Monthly zip files from November 2016 to December 2021, with each zip containing hourly .tif files with gridded CO2 fluxes at 0.02 degree resolution in an eastern North American domain from 33° to 47° north and 92° to 67° west. Annual zip files from November 2016 to December 2021, with each zip containing hourly .tif files with gridded CO2 fluxes at 0.01 degree resolution in an eastern North American domain from 38.4° to 39.6° north and 77.8° to 76.2° west.

Life Cycle Assessment Models for Construction Materials
Data provided by National Institute of Standards and Technology
This dataset is a set of life cycle assessment (LCA) models for select construction materials that have been developed by the Applied Economics Office of the Engineering Laboratory. An LCA model consists of two components: an inventory and a dataset(s). An inventory compiles and quantifies environmentally relevant flows: products, materials (including waste and emissions), or energy as defined in ISO 14040. Datasets contain environmentally relevant information of the process producing or treating the related flow.
