Data and code for the paper, "Inverse Transform Sampling for Efficient Doppler-Averaged Spectroscopy Simulations"

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This dataset represents the results of calculations of atomic absorption spectra for the case of two-color EIT. We compare computation methods, specifically Gaussian sampling, to find that one sampling method converges to smooth transmittance curves in less time than the other. We also include some example scripts which generate and plot the figure data.

Measuring Electro-Acoustic Mixing in Piezoelectric Materials

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Here are included figures and other relevant data from the paper "Electro-Acoustic Nonlinear Signal Mixing" to be published in proceedings to The Device Research Conference.Introduction: Here we develop an approach to measuring nonlinear signals generated by piezoelectric materials. While linear measurements of piezoelectric materials are quite common, field- and frequency-dependent measurements of the third order piezoelectric tensor of piezoelectric materials remain rare [1, 2].

Observations of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and carbon monoxide (CO) mole fractions from the NIST Northeast Corridor urban testbed

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Note: This data archive supersedes our previous archive: https://doi.org/10.18434/mds2-2491. See Updates document for specific major and minor changes. Here we provide hourly observations of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and carbon monoxide (CO) from tower-based sites in the NIST Northeast Corridor network. Each *.tgz (tar/gzip) archive contains data files for a given site location, named by its 3-letter code (see NEC_sites.csv for codes and locations). To extract on a unix platform, use "tar -xvzf <filename>".

A Guided Demonstration of the Counting Method Evaluation Tool (COMET) for Implementing the ISO 20391-2 Cell Counting Standard

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

This dataset contains 5 .csv files which were used to compare cell counting methods using the COMET (Counting Method Evaluation Tool). These datasets are described in the manuscript entitled "A Guided Demonstration of the Counting Method Evaluation Tool (COMET) for Implementing the ISO 20391-2 Cell Counting Standard". The datasets can be directly uploaded to the COMET website (https://cell-counting.shinyapps.io/COMET/) and can be used to generate the plots and tables in the manuscript.

AM Bench 2022: Cross sectional microstructure of single laser tracks produced using different processing conditions and 2D arrays of laser tracks (pads) on solid plates of nickel alloy 718

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The following data files include microstructure measurement results associated with the 2022 Additive Manufacturing Benchmark test series (AM Bench 2022) AMB2022-03 set of benchmarks. These AMB2022-03 benchmarks explore a range of individual and overlapping melt pool behaviors using individual laser tracks and 2D arrays of laser tracks (pads) on solid metal IN718 plates. For the individual laser tracks, a range of laser parameters was used, with variations in laser power, speed, and spot diameter.

JRES-NIST XML Dataset

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

The dataset consists of full-text XML files of 1,498 articles of the Journal of Research of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, published between 1959-2020. This dataset includes articles and errata updates. The filenames correspond to each publication's Pub-Med Central ID (PMCID). Folders are zipped due to size.

Dynamic Range by Design in OTA EVM measurements

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

We present an experimental approach to design an over-the-air (OTA) millimeter-wave system for measuring error vector magnitude (EVM) with associated uncertainties that include correlations and nonlinearities. Our approach uses a variable waveguide attenuator at the output of a modulated-signal source at 44 GHz and provides traceable measurements on a calibrated equivalent-time sampling oscilloscope. The conductor-based EVM measurements and associated uncertainties presented here serve as a baseline for the eventual OTA-based EVM.

Predicting ABM Results with Covering Arrays and Random Forests

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Our goal is to explore the feasibility and usefulness of using a combination of covering arrays and machine learning models for predicting results of an agent- based simulation model within the vast parameter value combination space. The challenge is to select parameter values that are representative of the overall behavior of the model, so that we can train the machine learning model to be able to correctly predict behavior on previously untested areas of the parameter space. We have chosen Wilensky's Heat Bugs model in NetLogo for our study.

CMOS Sky130 Primitives measured at cryogenic temperatures

Data provided by  National Institute of Standards and Technology

Sky130 is an open source complimentary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology manufactured by Skywater Technology in its facility in Bloomington, Minnesota. Since it is an open source technology, there are no legal restrictions on it's characterization, unlike in typical foundry semiconductor technologies. To facilitate the development of cryogenic electronics, this data set includes measurements of devices manufactured in Sky130 at low temperatures.
