This dataset contains a high quality operational Environmental Data Record (EDR) of nadir profiler ozone from the Ozone Mapping and Profiling Suite (OMPS) instrument onboard Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21. This daily product provides global estimates of layer ozone amounts, UV reflectivity, and absorbing aerosol index values at a spatial resolution of 50 kilometers at nadir. The EDR also contains quality information including quality flags, measurement sensitivities, and retrieval efficiency factors.

onboard the Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21 satellites. The dataset is produced by
the NOAA Satellite and Information Service (NESDIS), and is an EDR of Imagery from
all 5 I-bands and 6 of the 16 M-bands. It is important to note however that only the
I-band EDR Imagery is archived in CLASS, the M-band EDR Imagery is not. The VIIRS

This global Level-1B (1b) Sensor Data Record (SDR) provides calibrated and geolocated radiance data acquired by the Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite (OMPS) onboard the Suomi-NPP, NOAA-20, and NOAA-21 satellites. The data are derived from observations (between 290-1,000 nm) detected by the OMPS Limb Profiler (LP) with an estimated vertical resolution of 700 m at nadir. This data set is generated from the OMPS Raw Data Records (RDR) and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS).

The Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) is a 22 channel microwave sounder on-board the Suomi-NPP satellite. ATMS is primarily used to detect and measure atmospheric temperature and moisture profiles. This metadata record encompasses all ATMS Raw Data Records (RDRs), which include science, diagnostic and telemetry RDRs. These products are produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and are distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS).

The data are derived from backscattered UV radiation (between 250-310 nm) detected by the OMPS Nadir Profiler at a spatial resolution of 250 km at nadir. The Cross Track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) on-board the Suomi-NPP is a Fourier Transform Spectrometer that operates in tandem with the Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) to detect and measure atmospheric temperature and moisture profiles. This metadata record encompasses all CrIS Raw Data Records (RDRs), which include science, diagnostic, memory dump and telemetry RDRs. CrIS RDR products are produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and are distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS).

This global Level-2 (L2) Intermediate Product (IP) provides a first guess ozone profile estimate acquired by the Cross Track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) onboard the Suomi-NPP satellite and is used as input for producing the OMPS Total Column Ozone Environmental Data Record (EDR). This product is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and is distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS) in the HDF5 file format with metadata attributes included.

This global Level-2 (L2) Environmental Data Record (EDR) provides vertical profiles (temperature, moisture, and pressure) and terrain corrected geolocation information detected by the Cross-track Infrared and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder Suite (CrIMSS) onboard the Suomi-NPP satellite. The CrIMSS suite consists of two instruments: Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS). This data set is generated from CrIS and ATMS Sensor Data Records (SDR) and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS).
